Can't understand the origin of the problem Feb 15, 2007

I tried to translate the same file with my japanese XP but there was the same probleme. BUT, not with all the sentences ! It was just a text picked up from internet to try something.
When I pick up an another text form internet, I don't have anymore this problem. But I remember to had this problom with an another text a long time ago.
So my post is not a answer to resolve the problem, but maybe it will give some informations important to do it ??

Trados coding Nov 30, 2007

The problem is due to the:
{\xmlopen} and {\xmlclose}

If you export the memory, delete them and reimport your memory, the problem is gone. But it is a pain. I would love to know why this coding gets added.

Yes, certainly, but there are too many. Nov 30, 2007

Thank you for this interesting information.
Effectively, there are many {\xmlopen} and {\xmlclose} in my TMbut, there are so many that it takes me a lot of time to eliminate them all...
As you say, it'd better to find out the root cause why these tags are added and reason why they don't cause any problem with TagEditor.
I will try to find out with Trados support....
