My name is Yakov Podolnyi. I am 29 years old and I am a language professional with extensive experience in interpreting and written translation. In 2013 I graduated from St. Peterburg State University, faculty of Philology. In 2014 I graduated top of the class from St. Petersburg Higher Scool of Conference Interpreting and Translation (joint project of the Herzen University, United Nations, European Comission) and had a two-month internship at the Russian translation service at UN Headquarters in New York. Since 2014 I am an active conference interpreter and translator with English and Spanish languages, working at high level events in various fields including politics, economy, law, international affairs, human sciences and arts. I have a background in humanities and psychoanalysis. Since 2018 I am living in Jerusalem, Israel and since recently added Hebrew to my working languages.
