English to Japanese: Engineer's Field Report Detailed field: Electronics / Elect Eng
Source text - English Adding a run confirm delay time in the PLC program would help in instances where the relay momentarily opens or delays in closing. However, this will not remedy cases where the relay does not close at all (such as observed on Line 20).
ハ
It would be beneficial to replace the Weigh Feed Conveyor drive on Line 20 with a drive that incorporates the improved relay, a relay that has higher vibration tolerance and a higher mechanical life expectancy, so that:
ハ
a. A drive with a known intermittent relay can be analyzed at Yaskawa.
b. Testing can begin with the improved relay to determine its effectiveness in withstanding the actual environment.
ハ
The output relay is being used as a メrun confirmモ signal at a rate of approximately 5 cycles/minute. The high cycle rate (approx. 200,000 cycles per month) along with the low current passing through the relay contacts (approx. 8 mA) makes the solid state photo-coupler output attractive as an alternate method. The photo-coupler will not exhibit wear and is perfectly suitable to pass low current (50mA maximum). However, the input card within the PLC would need to be changed to a sourcing type. This also means closer scrutiny will be required by the designers of the system to insure compatibility between the drive and PLC for the voltage being used. Some users require 120Vac for feedback. The photo-coupler solution is compatible with 24 or 48Vdc inputs only.
