Some more background

• I obtained a degree in Journalism by the Complutense University of Madrid after previous studies of Philosophy and Literature. First jobs in the publishing area (proofreading, DTP, prepress, graphic design). Its mix of creativity, technique and handcrafting has been always attractive for me.
• Next I worked as a journalist for several publishing houses and magazines, mainly in the field of Information Technology as well as an ample range of the most diverse topics from business and economics to sciences and sports. A most challenging experience.
• In the meantime, I learnt to translate, to coordinate people who translate, to work in the new industry of localization and to find my way in it.
• Translating is for me the perfect way to combine my love for languages and literature, technical skills and curiosity for other cultures and almost for everything. Independence and sudden holidays are other small perks……
