Does "manera" have some meaning I don't understand here? Maybe style of the day?
Castilian Spanish yo UK English.
TIA! :)
Su (Mateo Pérez d'Aleccio) obra más conocida es la lucha
entre ángeles y demonios, pintada a fresco en la pared opuesta al juicio
de Miguel Ángel en la capilla Sixtina... ... Esas obras son una imagen, un reflejo perfecto de la recepción del estilo miguelangelesco y de su transformación a través de la manera. Y es este el estilo que Mateo Pérez
d'Alecco llevó a través de sus viajes en otros centros del Mediterráneo.

through the Mannerist style / Mannerism
Not in my area, but I think it might refer to Mannerism:
Mannerism, Italian Manierismo, (from maniera, “manner,” or “style”), artistic style that predominated in Italy from the end of the High Renaissance in the 1520s to the beginnings of the Baroque style around 1590. The Mannerist style originated in Florence and Rome and spread to northern Italy and, ultimately, to much of central and northern Europe. The term was first used around the end of the 18th century by the Italian archaeologist Luigi Lanzi to define 16th-century artists who were the followers of major Renaissance masters.

Unless there's a more technical term in art English. Sense 5 in the RAE:
5. f. Pint. Modo y carácter que un pintor o escultor da a sus obras.

Sure, but that's the meaning. So all you need is a good synonym for "style". His personal technique, method, whatever.

Note from asker:
The problem with that is that the word style already appear in the sentence. " es este el estilo que Mateo Pérez d'Alecco llevó a través de sus viajes en otros centros del Mediterráneo." These works are an image, a perfect reflection of his reception of the Michelangelesque style, and his transformation from this. |
