I want to tell you about a new multilingual dictionary I've built: Global Glossary, http://www.globalglossary.org/. It is a collection of bilingual glossaries extracted from Wiktionary, OmegaWiki, FreeDict and other freely available sources. As of now it contains glossaries in 19 languages paired up into over 70 bidirectional language pairs. In some of these language pairs, the glossary available there is the biggest you’ll find anywhere on the Internet. I am adding new languages almost daily. Eventually, I'm hoping to cover all languages of the world for which good-quality, freely available glossaries can be found on the Web.

This is a personal pet project of mine. I'd very much appreciate it if you could have a look and tell me what you think; all comments will be welcome. (Sorry if you've seen this in GlossPost already. First of all - Welcome to proz.com!

Your pet project is really great. I was looking for a good definition for sustainable development and related terms, and your glossary clarifies most of my questions.

The fact that you have a number of different sources for terms and related expressions neatly organized on a single page is a plus!

Global Glossary now has 95 languages Jun 21, 2011

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I have just launched a new version of Global Glossary. It now contains over 25 million entries in 95 languages, which I think makes it one of the biggest dictionaries in the world -- if not *the* biggest.
