Hello Everyone,
I am not sure if anyone else is having the same issue but in SDL Studio 2021, I cannot find an option to disable this:
Everytime I open an xliff file Studio is adding the same TM (for the same language pair). I remember that there should be an option for this and I can activate-deactive this feature. I want Studio to ask me which TM I want to use everytime I open an xliff file.
Does any one know such a feature/option in SDL Studio 2021? ... See more

First, I think you want to go into the Setup of Studio: File > Setup > Project Template Here you chose Default under Project Templates and Edit. My guess is that the default template is set up with the translation memory and terminology database you are talking about. You would of course want to remove them in the setup if so.
But if Studio does not ask you for the TM and TB to use, you could click the Project Settings button and choose the databases there.
As far as I can remember, Studio only asks about the TM and TB if I set up a new project and then import the sdlxliff file, but I may be wrong.
