¿ qué corrector ortográfico y gramatical me recomendáis para textos en castellano en formato de Microsoft Word ?

Si tienes MS Office 2000 o cualquier versión posterior, ya tienes el corrector ortográfico y gramatical necesario para Word.

que detecte discrepancias de género y número.

Por ejemplo, el revisor de Word no detectaría el error contenido en esta frase :

Hizo los estudio de medicina en su ciudad natal.

En lugar de " Hizo los estudios .... "
