I am a freelance translator and a researcher at the University of Ottawa in Canada. At the moment, I am preparing a paper on online communities and knowledge building in Internet-based translator networks such as Proz.com.

They will also be available online at www.jmcdonough.ca by the end of November. All responses will be kept strictly anonymous.

I will be collecting questionnaires until October 1st, so if any other translators are interested in responding, please send an email to questionnaire@jmcdonough.ca so that I can send you the .rtf file.
