I have two questions about the location map which is shown on our profiles.
1) How do I get center the map on my location? Right now my map is stupidly showing ASIA all over the picture, with my location off to the left side. I just want it in the center!
2) Is it possible to make the profile map look like the one in the Profile Updater? They certainly look different... Check it out if you haven't already.

I think you need to double-click your location. It works, but it's not a permanent solution. You'd have to double-click it everytime you visit the page..

Yes, Nesrin, exactly. I'd like my location to appear in the part of the map that *I* want, not Google
I've submitted a support ticket. We'll see if the staff can help.

Once I'd finally got my coordinates right (got them wrong the first time and ended up in the North Sea!) it just did that automatically, I think (maybe it's because this is a smaller country).

That's ridiculous! Errr, I mean, that's great!
It's quite obvious now why my location used to be off-center. By default, the map was centered on the center of the country. Well, that's great for a normal-size country, which most European nations are. But Russia always has to be different! Hehehe...
So, I still think your location looks pretty good, Peter.
It would be even better if we could customize the zoom level and the map center.
