Well, I got invited by someone I work with to join their network. Clicked on the "accept" link and was informed that someone I've never heard of before was pleased to have me in their network now. So what do I do now- inform the (now no longer) stranger that I don't really want to join them...?

Would be grateful for any assistance in sorting this out.

I see that you have not accepted or rejected the invitation you mention yet. If you are not interested in being part of this user's network, then click on No thanks, not at this time for this connection request in the My network page.

As mentioned in my initial posting, I did accept the invitation. But instead of being thanked for joining my colleague's network I got a message thanking me for joining a total stranger's network. Which leads me to believe that the link had a problem.

Since you were kind enough to provide me with a link, I clicked on it to see what would happen. I got the following message:

Something went wrong...
Invitation already accepted



Would it be possible for you to take me out of the stranger's network and perhaps correct the link allowing me accept my colleague's invitation?
