I experiences this before, but somehow I managed to solve the problem. Now it is recurring: I wanted to post a monolingual KudoZ question (En-En), but a message always appeared saying something like "incorrect posting" or "missing information", or something to this effect.
I tried both English-English and English-(Monolingual) as language pairs.
Thank you for fixing this bug.
Csaba,
from snowbound Budapest

the monolingual question, you have to activate the langage pair EnglishEnglish in your own profile. The same happened to me yesterday.

In fact, when asking a question there is the option "monolingual", so you don't have to choose English-English or Spanish-Spanish, but En-mono or Sp-mono.
I've been able to ask questions in En mono without having it in my profile.
Good luck.
