Perhaps you have already noticed that erroneous ID \"verifications\" were issued overnight. This was due to a technical fault - you can recognise the incorrect VID\'s by the reference to a PayPal payment and the date (14APR2003).



The ProZ.com team has already been notified, and are working on rectifying the situation. In any case, this should not cause any major problems, since VID is not yet used for the functional control across the site.

while, all verification display will be turned off.



The problem should be solved within a few hours.
