How to change the number of lines in the Translation results pane

It is desirable for me to increase the maximum number of lines (now 2 only) in Translation results pane (in the top part)



One can see a full segment below, in the middle part, but preferably for me to see it here, in the top

Lookup Results Nov 28, 2023

Hi,

I am not sure I've fully understood your question, because on the screenshot, there is only one TM suggestion. By default the number of TM hits in lookup result pane is 5. Was it decreased somehow? You may change that number and set some more options in the Options window. See 'Miscellaneous' > 'Lookup results' (do not confuse with 'Appearance' > 'Lookup results').

There is no option for that. just scroll down to see the comparison pane. This is how you can see the entire current segment and its previous version.

My example was taken from the MemoQ help system and more full screenshot looks like:

Both source and translation sentences don't fit to the grid in the top part of Translation results pane. Full sentences are seen in the middle part. But I wish to see them in the top part. For this it's necessary to add lines in the first row of the grid (3, 4, or more to display full source/translation).

Sorry for misunderstanding. As Stepan has already answered, there is no such option to set in memoQ. I guess the only ways to see whole segments in the hit list are either to decrease font size for lookup results or/and to expand the right part of the memoQ window, thus resizing the main editor window as well. Perhaps, both may be acceptable only for big screens and if you use horizontal positioning for active row.
