Whether appearing as an interpreter before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, or translating official documents for a family sponsorship application, an understanding of the way in which the Canadian immigration system works is essential. In this full-day workshop, an overview of the federal immigration system will be provided, as well as an in-depth analysis of relevant government immigration forms and supplementary materials required during the immigration process.
(The workshop will be presented entirely in English, and will be useful to both translators and interpreters whose language pairs include English.)
