以口译为例：
也许你看到的是国内记者招待会的Interpretation水平；好在现在网络发达，可以看到外交部译员在正式外交场合的Interpretation；你也可以在Twitter上看到好事者针对外交部译员口译做的勘误表，很及时的，看了你就知道了，什么叫山外有山。因为这种场合的口译是无法提前准备的。

我早就知道，山外有山、人上有人，但也见过不少晃荡得很厉害的半瓶子醋。好事者我也见得多了。

1981年，我曾在人民大会堂陕西厅参加过一场国际会议。我在那次会上就充分领教了外交部翻译的高水平。一开始政府官员与中外企业代表在大会上发言时，是采取同声译方式。后来，国务院总理朱镕基在大会上即兴发言，担任翻译的是一位20多岁小伙子。朱镕基有时一讲就是十几分钟才停下。那位翻译一直采取速记的方式把他的话记下；朱镕基讲话一停，他就马上开始翻译，而且翻译准确率至少在90%以上。因此，我是衷心佩服！

至于“煽风点火”，我在 “What does "拱火" mean and how to translate it?” 这一帖里，图文兼用（不敢自吹“图文并茂”），已经把我的意思表达得很清楚，而且是用我们的母语表达的，应该很容易搞懂。我相信此论坛的其他同仁都已经很理解我的意思了，但似乎你还不大明白我的意思。

“翻墙”违法吗？“翻墙”有哪些危害？军校学员告诉你答案。

1/ 什么是网络“翻墙”？
这里“墙”指的是“国家公共网络监控系统”-GFW（The Great Fire Wall of China），俗称中国国家防火墙。“翻墙”又称“破网”，是指通过虚拟专用网络（VPN）技术规避国家网络监管，突破IP封锁，内容过滤，域名劫持，流量限制等，非法访问被国家禁止的境外网站行为。“翻墙”工具又被形象地称为“梯子”。

2/ “翻墙”违法吗？
好多战友认为“只要我没有搭建翻墙服务，没有用来盈利就不违法，不去境外网站发表不当言论就不违法。”这个观念是完全错误的！
如果是学习、工作原因，违规“翻墙”去查阅资料这个犯法吗？答案是肯定的！也就是说，只要你在国内使用翻墙软件，不管你的目的是什么，学英语也好、查资料也罢，绕开我国的法律管制浏览境外服务器相关网页内容的行为都属于违法行为！法律已经明文规定！！

The issue "l‘independance" or "séparatisme" of Hong Kong, appears to be far away from the theme of this thread.

I suggest you discuss with David Lin who lived in Hong Kong, and/or other colleagues on this forum who still live in Hong Kong. Hopefully, they will give you more valuable opinions and thoughts. Or, you can go to 茶馆 ： 所有"无关紧要的"话题.

这个冲突代表一个动荡世界的到来，奉劝诸位未雨绸缪，早点做好心理准备，然后静待事情发展。当然，努力种好自己的地是很重要的。据说朱相曾言：炒股要听党的话。嗯，我看捣鼓国际市场翻译这事儿，也得照此办理。中亚、西亚、南亚、东南亚会是中西角力的主要地区，包括经济竞争关系，肯定会在各种文件上反应出来，因此，了解学习这些地区的语言应该是有市场前景的。我的感觉，不能在英语一棵树上吊死，要弄多语，两三个外语吧。听起来似乎不可能，其实在互联网时代，学语言不再是只有走语言学校一条路的方式了，那么多视频资源不都是语言学习的资料吗？所以，时代变了，人也得变，与时俱进。
