3篇试译，600单词？

各位好！
最近在ProZ上应征，接到一家公司的试译稿件，一共3篇稿件（不同领域的），600单词。

想了解一下，这种情况是否常见？300字以内的我觉得也就罢了，但600单词我觉得有点多。请问这种情况一般如何处理比较合适？


补充：感谢Moderator回复！查找资料过程中，发现一篇文章是从中文译过去的，我根据关键词找到了原文... ...这是啥情况。我应该如实报告么？

这种情况似乎国内译社较为常见，做与不做看你自己吧～:)

因为多做一个领域，通过的话，你就多一个领域的稿源。当然，不是擅长的领域，可以不做。

试译通过并不等于就能拿到项目，还得看客户能否接受你的价格。当然，如果并不在乎是否会白花时间和精力，那就不妨一试。
