You don’t really need it. I mean, you, who can take a massive/malicious swing at almost no provocation at all, would feign to magnify any sting out of all proportion. It's not healthy. By the way, that’s also what I would characterize as a victim attitude.

Hi, Alan, could you please refrain from saying "poppycock" again and again! I think you should know what this word means.

Cultural difference leads to poppycock? I will stand by my translation for now unless there is a better one. I just checked there is a Prince Poppycock, who is or was famous in the U.S, perhaps it’s not really a bad word at all. Need more input on this. J.H. Exactly. To get exposure, lest one is forgotten. EnglishChineseT wrote: Alan Wang wrote: I post this primarily to make an exposure. Some of my acquaintances asks me how to get a client. 美国人习惯上把1楼称为“the first floor/storey”,“2楼”便是“thesecond floor”。

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/ground%20level Noun 1. ground level - the height of the ground on which something stands; "the base of the tower was below grade" 2. ground level - the floor of a building that is at or nearest to the level of the ground around the building

即使原作者明确其所谓的 ground level 就是指 ground floor,而不是指 the level of the ground around the building,那么“高于一楼的楼层”也比“地面二楼以上”为佳。
