I was googling around in search for a good transcription software that could convert my audio files into text (especially regarding Slovenian language).
In most cases, the software or online tools offer the two languages English and German, but Slovenian is rarely found. I tested some of them with mixed experiences (from bad up to acceptable results of the transcription).

From time to time I use Dragon (but not regularly) for English and German language, and my dictating machine for Slovenian, however I still have to do a lot of corrections afterwards, especially if there are uncommon words in the text. Does any of you have experience with transcription tools or software? How high is the correctness of recognized words (in per cents)? Is there any improvement in correct recognition after a more intense use? When translating do you find it difficult to find the correct expression while speaking? I just tried Reduct.video in a different language (Thai) and got excellent results. I haven't tried Slovenian, but they do offer it as an available language - https://reduct.video/product/translation

Whisper v2 and v3 OpenAI Speech To Text Model support Slovenian and my Czech language. I still use v2 for English.
I had to buy a graphics card and a more powerful computer. I use MS Windows 11 and free software + free large models.
