Hello all!
I´m an undergraduate student about to graduate in Spanish-English Translation, and I want to go into Court Interpretation. I have limited interpreting experience, and so I´m looking at options to get education on real-world court interpretation. How do I do this? Is it necessary for me to attend a formal training program? They seem expensive. Or should I just study on my own somehow? Or are there online programs that are worth it?

I´ve been looking at the Agnese Institute at the University of Arizona. $2750 for a three week program? Would this be worth it? I live in Utah now but I am looking to relocate and certify in any other state.

How did you guys do it?

Thanks!
