If you click on a link that is a word-file, this will automatically start MS Word (if you are using Outlook) and loads the document. If you have not set your security settings in Word to warn before you open a doc that contains a macro, you might trigger a VBA macro.

So, beware of what you click on within the search results and set security to warn before opening a doc with a macro.

Did you mean OE or IE? Dec 6, 2001

Did you mean your email client, or the browser?

Google is my first choice by a long margin; but I use Netscape, which I find vastly superior to Explorer (or indeed to all MS offerings).

Best regards,

John
