Hello, have you found a "cheap" way to host TMs and termbases for real-time sharing while working on Trados Studio or memoq projects? Trados 2021 won't support it. You can try a workaround when you create several copies of your TM, each for one translator, and put it in a cloud-based location like DropBox or OneDrive. For example, you create 3 TMs: 1. EN-PT_Jose.sdltm — write for Jose, read only for Grigori and Stepan 2. EN-PT_Grigori.sdltm — write for Grigori, read only for Stepan and Jose 3. EN-PT_Stepan.sdltm — write for Stepan, read only for Jose and Grigori The full description of the workaround is here. Pay special attention to the paragraph that mentions twenty minutes. | | | Jose Ruivo Portugal Local time: 14:37 Member (2007) English to Portuguese + ... TOPIC STARTER Permissions? | Apr 11, 2023 |

Thanks Stefan! I have used that solution a few years back, and at some point some uses staope receivin updates to the "read" TMs, never figured out why | | | Jose Ruivo Portugal Local time: 14:37 Member (2007) English to Portuguese + ... Assuming this might require a more sophisticated/costly solution, but do you know a way of having several users working on the same project, and at the end of the day knowing who did how many new words, and who benefited from who many repetions, fuzzy matches, etc? | | |

If you're a freelancer, you can use Wordfast Server along with the SDL 2019 plugin (2019 only). Wordfast Server is free for freelancers for up to 3 simultaneous connections. Regarding the latest question, this is hard to do. I know that in Wordfast Anywhere, you could set up a project, split a file and assign portions of it to colleagues. In the advanced menu, youwill be able to set up the linguists tasks and then know how much they're assigned. That's a TMS function (which is basically what you're asking for in your last question). I have used Wordfast like that in the past, and forgot about it. One doubt: what does TMS stand for? TIA PS - Translation Management System... Any sugestions about one that does what I'm after?
