A relatively straightforward EN-PL patent on fertilizer production with just one nasty cryptic phrase that prevents me from sending it in... A relatively straightforward EN-PL patent on fertilizer production with just one nasty cryptic phrase that prevents me from sending it in... Translating a patent on early detection of ischaemia and stenoses, wishing it was written by physicians rather than physicists... Another EN-PL garden-variety technical solution patent. I do appreciate that there is work for me during these times that are a genuine hardship for many, and yet I wish there were more jobs that are likely to make a difference, either when it comes to me or the world. Translating a patent on the use of glucocerebrosidase - monster size, but the content is relatively simple (in terms of language, at least); I got stuck on the term "obligate carrier", though - it seems there is no established Polish equivalent. Finishing a large EN-PL translation of a website involving far-reaching localisation of fuel equipment produced in Latvia for the Polish market. I've learned quite a lot about fuel supplements and the like in the process :) Just finished a quite challenging PL-EN CT translation, featuring non-patent ostiomeatal complexes, enlarged bilateral infraorbital Haller cells and pneumatized anterior clinoid recess. Phew! A fairly large patent on counteracting angiogenesis: not only challenging, but genuinely interesting. Creating a knowledge test of medical English for Future Centre Corporation - mind-boggling! Closing the translation day now, but will be back to pamper my giant antibody EN-PL baby tomorrow :) 1 user I looked up 'cavity' for a giant patent on heterodimer structure; found 'wtórne dziuplaki' by sheer accident... made my day :) Approx. 5000 words PL-EN on the recent developments in Polish health care; most frustrating :( |
