Getting the most out of ProZ.com is easy, and the main approaches to meeting new clients are outlined in the ProZ.com winning strategies:

  2. A strong, professional profile
  3. Collaboration and participation in term help
  4. Specialization
  5. Taking part in the Certified PRO Network

This webinar will show you how to apply the winning strategies, and includes a workshop portion, in which participants can receive customized help from a member of ProZ.com staff.

  • Freelancers starting in the translation industry.
  • Experienced freelancers who want to expand their client database.

For PC-based Users:

• Internet Explorer® 7.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google™ Chrome™ 5.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
• Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
• Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection
• Dual-core 2.4GHz CPU or faster with 2GB of RAM (recommended)

For Mac®-based Users:

• Safari™ 3.0 or newer, Firefox® 3.0 or newer or Google™ Chrome™ 5.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
• Mac OS® X 10.5 – Leopard® or newer
• Intel processor (1GB of RAM or better recommended)
• Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection

To Use VoIP (microphone and speakers or headset):

• Fast Internet connection (384 kbps or more recommended)
• Speakers or headset (USB headset recommended)
• NOT required: Microphone - attendees can communicate with the trainer through incorporated chat.

Recommendations

• For the visual section of the training course, we recommend that you have a 64kbps link. This means using an ISDN line or Broadband. Wireless connection is NOT recommended.
• For the audio section of the training course, we recommend that you have a headset or speakers.
• We recommend that you log in 30 minutes in advance of the start time to prepare for the training course.

Courses will be open half an hour before the start time. Please login before the start time to ensure that everything on your system is working correctly.

How to get a seat in one or more free webinars?Sep 5, 2012

Dear Maria!

I am terribly sorry of bringing disturbance to the field, still I could not find a way of getting a vacancy in the nearest webinar, which is to take place at September 13, 2012, 17:00 EEST (GMT+3). There were not any buttons or links there that would appear flawlessly logical or leading to complete my quest, so to speak. On the other side, I am not good at navigation of this website, though it is the first time I encounter so many difficulties of the issue.
