See more ...for quite some time is how the heck is modern society going to survive the ever-increasing pressure of Governments and politicians, who of course decide to tighten the grip a little bit more every week, squeezing us for more and more money while they use that exact money to interfere more and more in our private sphere with regulations on what we should think, speak, and do with our lives. The number of things you can do today without a permit or without breaking some law is rapidly decreasing. So what would solve my biggest concern at the moment is how are we regular citizens going to recover a reasonable degree of freedom and control of our lives, so that we can be confident that our children will not be servants of the Government, but reasonably free, responsible citizens.

Knowing that this isn't going to get any better in a few weeks from now once the little tyke arrives is making that desire to get sleep NOW all the stronger. ▲ Collapse | |
