Morning,
I'm just wondering if "önskvärd tydlighet" is an idiomatic phrase, since I can't seem to translate it naturally in English, other than perhaps "It is most clear", but that still sounds stilted.
"Det framgår av önskvärd tydlighet att det inte finns någon sådan princip i svensk rätt."
Any thoughts much appreciated.
All the best,
Richard

Rubbish - a dictionary is always helpful, and the Asker will decide whether my answer is of desired value.

This7these idiomatic phrases should work here are well -- kind of direct, but I suspect the Swe takes after the Eng rather than the other way around...

Or "the required level of certainity," depending upon context.
Discussion
'We're all doing the same job': coincidentally, we may be > for a Danish agency.
We're all doing the same job, we all know what it's like and the stresses we face, so let's just be nice to one another. For many of us working from home, KudoZ might be the only human contact we have, so let's be civil! :-)
I do appreciate every answer that people suggest, even if incorrect, as someone has taken time out of their day to help me for free. And I can overlook spelling mistakes on Kudoz (certainly not in my work or the work of others) when it is clear what is meant.
PLEASE, let's keep KudoZ friendly.
Unless it's a formal/pompous text then go for the more literal
"Det framgår, med all önskvärd tydlighet, att det inte finns någon sådan princip i svensk rätt." would be the correct phrase.
