Coordination
Singing is an integrated and coordinated act and it is difficult to discuss any of the individual technical areas and processes without relating them to the others. For example, phonation only comes into perspective when it is connected with respiration; the articulators affect resonance; the resonators affect the vocal folds; the vocal folds affect breath control; and so forth. Vocal problems are often a result of a breakdown in one part of this coordinated process which causes voice teachers to frequently focus in intensively on one area of the process with their student until that issue is resolved. However, some areas of the art of singing are so much the result of coordinated functions that it is hard to discuss them under a traditional heading like phonation, resonation, articulation, or respiration.
Once the voice student has become aware of the physical processes that make up the act of singing and of how those processes function, the student begins the task of trying to coordinate them. Inevitably, students and teachers, will become more concerned with one area of the technique than another. The various processes may progress at different rates, with a resulting imbalance or lack of coordination. The areas of vocal technique which seem to depend most strongly on the student's ability to coordinate various functions are.
* 1. Extending the vocal range to its maximum potential
* 2. Developing consistent vocal production with a consistent tone quality
* 3. Developing flexibility and agility

Impostacja głosu, czyli jego prawidłowe ustawienie/ postawienie jest wyrazem wszechstronnego opanowania narządu głosowego.
W praktyce oznacza to, że potrafisz sprawnie wykorzystać:
po pierwsze - mięśnie regulujące ruchy krtani,
po drugie - właściwy sposób oddychania,
po trzecie - nadkrtaniowe narządy artykulacyjne i właściwości rezonatorów.
Impostacja głosu (wł. impostare la voce- ustawiać głos) to proces jego szkolenia, stawiania. Wykracza poza ramy emisji głosu; jest pojęciem szerszym niż emisja głosu. Polega na wykorzystaniu wszelkich środków, dzięki którym osiągamy maksmalne i sprzężone działenie organów zaangażowanych w emisję głosu.

głosPrawidłowe postawienie głosu sprawia, że częstotliwość drgań fałdów głosowych jest zestrojona z częstotliwością rezonansową systemu rezonacyjnego - dźwięk o danej wysokości jest wzmocniany w odpowiednim rezonatorze. Prawidłowo ustawiony głos wiąże się również z precyzyjną artykulacją poszczególnych dźwięków, dykcją.
To wszystko powoduje, że ustawiony głos jest dźwięczny, nośny, wyraźny, pełen blasku i siły oraz stwarza duże możliwości artystycznej improwizacji i interpretacji.
H.Sobierajska (Uczymy się śpiewać) stwierdza, że "nie ma głosów brzydkich, są tylko głosy źle postawione. Jeśli usunie się przyczynę powodującą wadliwe wydobycie głosu oraz uzyska konieczne zharmonizowanie wszystkich ruchów i czynności głosotwórczych, głos zabrzmi prawidłowo i ładnie".

Voice projection is the strength of speaking or singing whereby the voice is used loudly and clearly. It is a technique which can be employed to demand respect and attention, such as when a teacher is talking to the class, or simply to be heard clearly, as an actor in a theatre.
Breath technique is essential for proper voice projection. Whereas in normal talking one may use air from the top of the lungs, a properly projected voice uses air properly flowing from the expansion of the diaphragm. In good vocal technique, well-balanced respiration is especially important to maintaining vocal projection. The goal is to isolate and relax the muscles controlling the vocal folds, so that they are unimpaired by tension. The external intercostal muscles are used only to enlarge the chest cavity, whilst the counterplay between the diaphragm and abdominal muscles is trained to control airflow.
Stance is also important, and it is recommended to stand up straight with your feet shoulder width apart and your upstage foot (right foot if right-handed etc) slightly forward. This improves your balance and your breathing.
In singing voice projection is often equated with resonance, the concentrated pressure through which one produces a focused sound. True resonance will produce the greatest amount of projection available to a voice by utilizing all the key resonators found in the vocal cavity. As the sound being produced and these resonators find the same overtones, the sound will begin to spin as it reaches the ideal singer's formant at about 2800 Hz. The size, shape, and hardness of the resonators all factor into the production of these overtones and ultimately determine the projective capacities of the voice.

Tak, ta "techniki mowy" faktycznie stawia impostację głosu znaczeniowo blisko "voice projection" - chyba za bardzo skupiłem się na porównywaniu tekstów z sieci, a za mało na kontekście...:-(
