Yes, Frank is the Boss here ;-) Thank you very much for your help.
George BuLah (X) Jan 21, 2015:
I was just asking - if "cylinder", since the IPC says so, and then - cited the example from the IPC regarding a "rotary" :) ... whilst the patent says "revolving".
Frank is the boss here!
Jan Wais (asker) Jan 21, 2015:
Thank you, but I thought that machine = urządzenie and George Bu Lahya proposed just "obracający się cylinder". But now I understand.
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Jan 21, 2015:
Even in English, machine is not necessary unless it is a part of something larger. Bęben rather than cylinders should be part of the translation.
Jan Wais (asker) Jan 21, 2015:
Thank you so much, I don't know Russian. I assume "obracający się cylinder" would be OK? So "machine" does not need to be included in the Polish term?
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Jan 21, 2015:
вращающимися транспортирующими устройствами = rotary conveying unit
conveying in a rotary fashion, przenosić obrotowo, więc bębenowy przenośnik obrotowy
George BuLah (X) Jan 21, 2015:
and here is the drawing at:

I believe, it's "3", isn't it?
George BuLah (X) Jan 21, 2015:
One of the classification symbols with this patent says in Russian:
- вращающимися транспортирующими устройствами
which is according to the authentic text (EN) of this classification:
- by rotary conveyors
and in Polish accordingly:
- za pomocą przenośników obrotowych.

This patent derives from Italian priority, and perhaps the "revolving" was used in translation from Italian instead of "rotary" which is "the classification (IPC) name/word".
George BuLah (X) Jan 20, 2015:
Frank, here is the Russian version of the patent - if you wish to consult and compare accordingly:

George BuLah (X) Jan 20, 2015:
obracający się, np. cylinder ?

The Russian patent kindly provided by George mentions
барабан = drum = bęben
сепарационные барабаны bębny wydzielające, rozdzielające
which speaks to their function, not their mode of operation (i.e., rotation).
