English term

hairdressers

"Diva hasn’t always had negative connotations. Back in my early years at at Mst, in the days before the term was applied to campy pop stars and hairdressers, the word was reserved for the top prima donnas."

「Any person who drives a two seater sports car or similiar, ie TOYOTA MR2 etc.
If the car in question is red and the driver is male, this is even more true.」

Nowadays, "diva" is used to refer (sometimes negatively) to 'drama queens,' etc. Basically, anyone who makes a fuss or is very demanding can be termed "a diva." Without meaning to generalize, pop stars and (esp. gay) hairdressers fall into this category.

The 'true' meaning of 'diva' is "top prima donna," and not just anyone could be called a "diva" (previously).
