English term

installlment

English to Japanese Bus/Financial Investment / Securities Stock option
In a part of a stock option agreement, the term"installment" is used in a phrase like "Options exercisable in 5 equal annual installments beginning one year after grant and are fully exrecisable 5 years prior to expiration".
Please advise how "installment" can be translated in Japanese in this case. Can I translate it "定額"?

均等単位での権利行使

Options exercisable in 5 equal annual installments beginning one year after grant and are fully exercisable 5 years prior to expiration

If we're talking on an annual basis, I would use 年賦 (年賦).
Monthly = (月賦)

disagree Port City : This sounds like "payment" is involved, like when you buy something on credit and pay back bit by bit on a yearly basis.

毎年均等に

"In installments" means「数回に分けて」whether in exercising share options or in making repayments for debts, so "5 equal annual installments" can be translated as「5年間にわたり毎年均等に」.「新株予約権は向こう5年間にわたり毎年均等に行使可能」

Thank you very much for the answer. I am sorry to say that I have given points to a person giving a similar translation earlier than you, but your translation helped me a lot.
