Could someone please explain to me what "transparency of the optical seeing process" (as opposed to, I presume, auditory and tactile seeing processes) is supposed to mean? I understand all the words, but this particular combination of them is a mystery to me. It's not quite on the level of furiously sleeping colorless green ideas, but i's pretty close...
