肖像/写真
この場合のlikenessはご提案のように似顔絵の意味もありますが、写真や肖像のことを指しているのではないでしょうか。調査の内容として、インタビューの他に、その様子をビデオテープに録画されるわけですから、通常顔も映るので、その肖像を使った場合にファーストネームやイニシャルが判明してしまう場合があります、という意味ではないでしょうか。
