In 1992, the Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA), now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), began a program allowing select rapid clinical tests to be administered and processed in settings that are exempted or waived from the requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA’88).

| Ευχαριστώ πολύ. Κι εγώ, εξετάσεις νομίζω ότι είναι. Στο κείμενο μου, τo CLIA το έχει "Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments". Οπότε, "των CLIA". Θα διαλέξω την πρώτη απάντηση γιατί δόθηκε νωρίτερα και είναι σχεδόν ίδια. |

: Συμφωνώ όσον αφορά το "εξετάσεων". Όχι όσον αφορά τους "χώρους", γιατί εδώ είναι "εργαστήρια" (testing sites). Και στα Ελληνικά προτιμώ μια απόδοση που να μην είναι σιδηρόδρομος.

Since CLIA was implemented in 1992, the number of waived tests and number of sites that perform waived tests has dramatically increased."
