In the US, you are reimbursed for jury duty (usually something usually around $15-25 per day). Since employers are obligated by law to allow you to be absent from work, many employers will pay you your daily wage, but you must give them what jury duty pay you received from the court in return.

Hence, if this is the case, your jury duty pay is not taxable. If your employer doesn't pay you (i.e. you get the day(s) off without pay) or in any event you keep your jury duty pay, it is taxable.
