Dave Bindon Nov 7, 2018:
If I saw καθοδηγούμενη ομαδική συζήτηση in a text I'd know what it means. Unless a native speaker knows of a standard Greek version, I'd go with that.
Ioanna Karamitsa (asker) Nov 7, 2018:
Thank you, Dave. Sounds more like καθοδηγούμενη οομαδική συζήτηση, I guess.

In case this helps... I used to work in Market Research.

The word 'facilitated' here is almost redundant, since it's the norm for a 'group discussion' in Market Research terms.

For a 'group', around 5-10 people will be asked to attend a venue together. They will normally be pre-selected for certain attributes (e.g. females, 25-34 years old, who buy capsules for coffee machines). Then a 'facilitator' (usually called a 'moderator' in the UK), who is trained for this purpose and has a sort of agenda, will guide the discussion. The moderator starts the discussion with a basic question (maybe "Why do you use capsules instead of loose ground coffee?") and then steers the rest of the discussion based on what's said (maybe "Mary said that capsules taste fresher. Do the rest of you agree or disagree?").

I don't know the official Greek term (if there is one). But maybe search for words like 'guided' rather than 'facilitated'.
