English term (edited): cross-brands

Πρώτα, δύο ορισμοί του cross-branding, για να είμαστε καλυμμένοι. Ο δεύτερος είναι πιο ταιριαστός εδώ:
Cross-branding is a marketing approach to enhance two brand names through associating them with each other. Amazon.com is well known for applying this concept, working with such brands such as Toysrus, Office Depot and Weight Watchers.

cross-branding: A marketing strategy which combines two offerings from separate companies. The technique is usually used to sell complementary products or services. Also called cross promotion or cross merchandising.

οπότε cross-training είναι, φλύαρα, η εκπαίδευση σε διαφορετικά τμήματα και ειδικότητες της επιχείρησης, ενώ cross-brands είναι ο συνδυασμός προϊόντων, η διάθεση διαφορετικών επώνυμων προϊόντων, το να συνδυάζεις φίρμες για να αυξάνεις τις πωλήσεις σου, και στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση το να εκπαιδεύεις το προσωπικό σου στην προώθηση διαφορετικών προϊόντων. Κάπως έτσι...
