"The learnings gained from this analytics indicate that the participation percentage of the medium par excellence should be maintained, cutting down on print in favor of online."

the strongest medium
I think that this might be clear as it is referring to a choice amongst several channels. Examples:
Some may say that radio advertising is the strongest medium of advertising, and some may say it's the Television. This debate has gone on for years, ...

The online medium is now hot on the heels of the second strongest advertising medium, newspapers, and at the same time has increased its lead over consumer ...

the dominant medium
Yet another option for you, Eugenio!
I really think this is the best for your context, though others suggested here would be fine. I love the expression "par excellence" and use it regularly, but I don't think it's suitable here, because it's not a question of being the medio "por excelencia" but the one that is most important or influential relative to the others.
There are vast numbers of hits in Google for "dominant medium" (even more than for the other options suggested!), and quoting an example proves nothing, of course, but for what it's worth, here are a couple:
"The Internet is fast becoming the dominant medium in the
world."

"TV remains the dominant medium, social networks not far behind though"
