Doctor visits Thanks. The phrase occurs hundreds of times in my 115-page document, and the context will determine whether/how I refer to the doctor.

Thanks, Muriel. It doesn't seem necessary to include the fact that the pharmaceutical reps visit doctors, in the context of the sentence. However, if you wish, you could say:
"...professionals of sales calls on doctors/to doctors' offices"

Un "profesional de la visita médica" is a sales representative who sells medical equipment, pharamaceuticals, and the like, As such they would make "calls", but I don't thinik you need that, Muriel:
