Greetings to all.

This computer-generated glossary, as edited by Kay, is a useful "starter" reference or translators of military and defense-related subjects.

That said, several other, and more-recent, references are available. Most notable are some published by Obeikan in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and one by Maktab al-Daboolii in Cairo.

Other bilingual glossaries (and a few dictionaries with details) exist on specific weapons systems -- i.e., tanks, infantery s... See more

Other bilingual glossaries (and a few dictionaries with details) exist on specific weapons systems -- i.e., tanks, infantery small arms, field artillery and rocket launchers, helicopters, etc. -- and military forces.

Its a shame that there are several pages not produced so you don't get the full dictionary. I have a copy and though i have found it useful there are othrs on the market as Stephen said that are worth a look
