This is from a cantonal hospital.

Does this mean "part of the hospital building" (ad Klinikgebäude)?

Discussion

Dr. Christopher Kronen May 27, 2023:
@Lirka Unintentional, I just meant to acknowledge the point you made. That's all.
Lirka May 27, 2023:
@ÇK Echo? LOL
Dr. Christopher Kronen May 27, 2023:
Considering the list of places, physical therapy is the more likely of the two.
Lirka May 26, 2023:
Oh and btw, Chefaerztin here is Head of Department rather than chief physician or similar.

The leitende OA is just a flattering designation for the most deserving senior physician, does not really play an important role in the hierarchy. Sort of a "primus inter pares".
Lirka May 26, 2023:
@CK Yes, but most other terms are places (Tumor center, Dept of Ob/Gyn) so Physical therapy makes sense.
Dr. Christopher Kronen May 26, 2023:
@Lirka Possibly, but I have seen ad Krankengeschichte used in the sense of regarding the KG, see the KG or as in the KG.
Lirka May 26, 2023:
@Kronen MUCH more likely Krankengymnastik than Krankengeschichte in view of the "ad"- perhaps meaning referred to KG...
Sebastian Witte (asker) May 26, 2023:
@ Christopher Thank you for your takes. I have provided all the relevant context there is.
Dr. Christopher Kronen May 26, 2023:
I am pretty sure that KG is Krankengeschichte or Krankengymnastik. There is insufficient context to know for certain which one.
