I.e. the client wants to make sure, that if the delivery cannot be done correctmly and on time, that he can cancel the order and find supplies somewhere else.

Although this is obviously not a financial context, maybe a financial term helps? A "buy-in" occurs in the event of a party defaulting, e.g. on a delivery obligation, in which case the non-defaulting party has the right to obtain the goods in the market and subsequently claim any resulting damages.

: Klaus Beyer is right: Selbstbeliferung means delivery to the seller himself (products which he has in his product range). Hence, "a full and timely order execution is subject to [sufficient] availability of merchandise [supplies]" is correct.
