Notice of Processing
This Policy is a general notice of Processing to Employees, which may be supplemented by summaries, FAQs and other documentation to aid in understanding.
If NAME OF COMPANY intends to Process Personal Data for purposes other than those enumerated above or for a purpose other than the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, NAME OF COMPANY will provide the Employee with unambiguous notice of the purpose(s) and basis for the additional processing, as well as the categories of Personal Data to be processed and the recipients.
If the basis of additional Processing is the consent of the Employee, then the choice to explicitly consent to such additional Processing shall also be presented to the Employee.
Any refusal of the Employee to additional processing (such as additional background checks for certain customers) will not be used to restrict employee opportunities or take punitive action, except that an employee’s refusal to submit to additional screening for specific client access would prevent that employee from providing services to that client.
NAME OF COMPANY shall also take reasonable measures to accommodate employee privacy preferences, such as de-identifying shared information whenever feasible and using secure transfer methods if the processing involves a transfer to a Service Provider.
NAME OF COMPANY shall not present additional Processing as a choice if the Processing is necessary for continued employment or otherwise mandatory, in which case compliant notice will still be provided.
