Alas, a 'simplified joint-stock company' (the original label in the 17th Century 'name for a corporation in which the liability of the owners is limited to the nominal value of the stock / shares held by them') went out of use in the UK literally centuries ago.

... to prevent cluttering of the archives here, unequivocal duplicate questions should be deleted. Asker: did you do any searching on the archives? It is also usually necessary to a google search with the word "proz" added, as the Proz search function is not that great.
