The former Love Island presenter was arrested and charged with assault by beating in December, in an incident involving her 27-year-old boyfriend, X.
The incident led to her stepping down as presenter of the ITV reality dating show, and there have since been questions over why the CPS pursued a court case against Ms Flack despite X stating that he did not want to press charges.
Criticism has also been levied at the CPS that the presenter was vulnerable at the time of the case proceedings. Following her death, Ms Flack’s management condemned the prosecution service for pursuing a “show trial”, which the representatives claimed was “not only without merit but not in the public interest”.

Hacer queja is in ESP is to file an early-stage criminal complaint and hacer una denuncia a later-stage pressing of charges, but I'm none too sure how it works in Portuguese..
