I am a Copenhagen-based translator and copy editor, with a passion for languages and a pair of eagle eyes when it comes to spelling and grammar mistakes. I translate from English and Danish to German, and German and Danish to English.

I grew up in Germany with an American mother and an English father. Being bilingual and bicultural - or, to be precise, trilingual and tricultural - sparked my love for different languages and cultures. It is no surprise, then, that I set out to study languages and literature. I hold a Master of Arts in German, English and Russian linguistics and literature.

After graduating, I spent a few years in publishing and adult education before turning to translating and editing. Although my path to becoming a translator and editor included several turns and stopovers, I believe that these have enriched my work and life experience, thus enhancing my communication and translation skills.

I deliver quality translations for companies from all sectors, covering a wide range of areas, including software, marketing, arts, humanities and education. I also have a strong interest in sustainability, green technologies and health.
