I am a full-time student and a part-time freelance translator. I have a BA in German International Studies, am currently pursuing an MA in Translation and Localization Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies Monterey, and have two years experience living in German-speaking countries.

I have learned the best practices of translation and localization industry. I have experience building, training and testing a pilot SMT engine. I have been trained on the most relevant CAT tools and leverage SDL Trados 2017 for my translation projects.

I am a native English speaker and focus solely on German to English translation. This not only reflects the best practices of the industry but also insures high-quality work. My areas of focus are politics, economics/finance, marketing and business.
