It's definitely worth it. I've been a registered user at ProZ.com since 2002, but only started getting jobs through the site after becoming a member. The membership fee paid back after the first order. | Paid membership at ProZ.com has been a good investment in the last 1-2 years. Several agencies have contacted me with offers, some of which I have taken up. | In quite many cases, the very first order won via ProZ.com more than covers the annual membership dues. | I found ProZ.com quite useful initially (the term search, KudoZ, the glossaries, etc.), but it really came into its own when I became a paying member. The Blue Board is extremely useful for filtering out undesirable clients (bad/slow payers) - a feature that is only available to full members, but it is worth its weight in gold.
